home      the gatehouse

You find your way to the gatehouse..

The dusty gatehouse causes you to sneeze. Aachoo!! Suddenly, a floorboard snaps beneath your paws, revealing an inky darkness. You venture down, light your candle and find a long-abandoned study.

A wooden desk sits in one corner, while piles and piles of books, tomes and encyclopedias litter the floor. This room has evidently been forgotten, as a thick layer of choking dust covers the whole place. You wipe away grime on the spines of some of the books, and read them:

Chronologies - Are you that tidy, organized person? Then you'll love this! Which Abbess went first? How about the Badger Lords? Is it true that Laterose of Noonvale liked Martin, or was she just bribed with a lifetime's supply of fame? I mean... Heheheh..Okay, we won't go there. At all.

Essays- Read boring, dry essays here. Sounds appetizing, huh?

Novel Summaries - Want to learn about the books in detail? Then this is the place for you! Actual books not included.  I mean, who can remember the darn Abbess of Marlfox? And who was that Taggerung guy anyway?

The Man Behind the Books- The author himself! Read about his early life, his many careers, and more! All bow to the father of Redwall!

The Animals Behind the Books -Basically, a guide to the creatures of the Redwallian world: mice, shrews, voles, squirrels, otters, rats, foxes, weasels, wildcats, stoats, ferrets, hamsters, and more! And all you ever wanted to know about their anatomy!  Yes, I mean you, fangirls!

Your Contribution to the ROC - Are you interested in making your own Redwall site? Okay. Good. We definitely need more dedicated ROC (Redwall Online Community) sites now more than ever!
