~To Write a Fanfic~

Fanfic: A creative fan made story, based upon a point of interest.
In this article, I will explain to you the basics of writing your own piece of Fan Fiction. Allowing you to create and showcase your own story through creative writing. Inspiring? Hopefully so!
First you are going to need a topic, in this case; Brian Jacques’s “Redwall Series.” Secondly, it’s helpful to plot out a basic storyline, with characters you’d like to see appear or reappear.
Next, think up some groovy names for your characters, something that grabs the reader’s eye and keeps their attention. Maybe your main character has a limp, or a fetish for honey scones, be creative, be ingenious, be yourself!
Now that you’ve got your plot and your characters, you’re ready to get going! Just take a moment to think about where your story is going, and no matter what….keep writing!!!!
Be sure to put in a “properties line” stating that any Jacques related characters/items belong to him, and thus you are just a humble reader expanding on his extraordinary creation.
Maybe dedicate your first real fanfic to someone special, thank all the “little people” who made the creation possible. IE you’re Mom for providing those orange strips which powered you into literary success!
But above all else, just have fun and express your true self! Literacy brings joy to millions of people all over the world, and to be a part of that is something special. So get out there and fanfic! Good luck!
